Hi All! Sorry I've not posted in a while, but I been getting ready for/recovering from surgery I had last week.

I'm thinking about starting over on Fallout 4 [for like the dozens time] and I was trying to think of a good character build, and was wondering what builds are you other Fallout 4 players using.

I never plan out my build very deeply, I just try to have a rough idea of how I'm going to play - energy weapons or projectile, or melee weapons. I always try to put some points into intelligence though, no matter what, because you get more xp if you have high int. And also, you need it if you plan on improving your own weapons which I always like to do.

Right now, I have got a sort of "Sniper" build, almost maxed out Perception and high Agility [for AP], but this build is getting kind of old.

I made a "Muscle" character once [high Strength and Endurance], a character that relied more on baseball bats and alike, but this got tricky when the bad guy was like up on a ledge or something. [dude couldn't shoot worth anything]

I did a melee build on survival mode, but basically it was just non-stop drug use. Youre constantly using jet to get you across the room and within punching range.

I'm not a big Chem user. I will make a Chem now and then [to sell] though.

but, A character that has an addiction to a Chem or to beer [some kind], not a bad idea.

Ya, I don't like them either because I think they're a lot of busy work, constantly going in and out of your inventory. But on survival mode, trying to get into melee range in a room full of guys with rifles is pretty much impossible without jet and medx.

True. I wish Bethesda had put in something [melee style] to throw [like throwing knifes, or something]
