Fans of Don Turtelli from TMNT

An interesting fact I thought any Turtelli fans might be interested to hear!

Ok, I was speaking to a former script writer who happens to know another former script writer who was part of the old TMNT team. Now, he knew a lot about the shows and characters. (He doesnt know I'm on here incidentally).

He said a lot of ideas and stories are drawn up and simply scrapped, maybe as much as 60%.

Anyway, to get to the point, I brought up the shows minor characters in conversation, and soon we were talking about everybody's favourite villain. He appeared in 3 shows as most of you will know: the great boldini, the case of the hot kimono and burnes blues.

Anybody guess whats coming next? Yes - he was scripted to appear in another show. This never came to the animation stage, but a rough plot WAS drawn up according to this script writer.

The plot, I'm sure you'll want to hear, was to bring in one or two other guest characters: Zach's brother, thinks was called Walter and Zach's mother, (guy didn't know a name for her, thinks someone mentioned a name beginning with a 'V', Vanessa maybe?). The voice of Zachs mother was to be done by Jennifer Darling.

Anyway the victims were to be Zach and his mother. A map leading to some treasure or another is being held by Zach in his home. His brother apparently steals the map from Zachs bedroom and leaves the house. In the meantime Turtelli comes looking. Zach & Vanessa (?) are duly bound and gagged whilst Turtelli & his henchmen ransack the home. Finding no map,Zach and Vanessa are taken to Turtelli's penthouse for an evening of laughter.

There was apparently to be a comic element whereby Turtelli goes back to the house alone to search more and instructs his henchmen (Bruce & Rodney I'm assuming), to use the feather on Zach and his mother until they 'sing'. The henchmen misunderstand 'making them sing' and Turtelli returns to find his captive's singing nursery rhymes in return for a halt to the tickle torture.

I think I got a fair amount of info about this from the script writer,but will ask further when I speak to him again (I don't want to make my motives too obvious though!!)

Iwas a big Don Turtelli fan April Oneill to me is the greatest cartoon character ever to be tickled Iwish they could have kept that scene going for a minute or so and try to break April until she talks forget about Vernon. Aclose second was the scene which the blonde Zach and Katie are tickled on their feet TALK OR YOULL BE SORRY! replies Turtelli while Zach laughs uncontrollably I THINK I ALREADY AM SORRY HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.The scene you mentioned blows my mind I can only imagine Zachs mom being blonde pretty and deathly ticklish on the soles of her feet seeing them being foot tickled emitting a chorus of laughter would have been great. Did you ever ask if one of the creators was a tickle fetishist?great stuff

Well. Way back then, I was always curious about tickling and liked it in a more playful type of manner. After seeing that on the ninja turtles, having a girl tied up and tickling her until she breaks developed a who new concept for a 7 year old.


20 years later.... what do you ya know, it developed and I'm sure I'm not alone with that story.

cant get enough of this take why couldnt they have put both of Aprils feet elevated and tickled her feet loved the blind fold ILL NEVER TALK FOR YOU YOU FIEND HAHAHAHAHA the one guy should have shut his mouth when he replied shes too tuff boss shell never talk a little more patience was needed. The scenerio of the blonde Zach tickled on his feet while his blonde mother tickled on her feet what a missed oppurtunity it would have been my favorite scene ever Sometimes I wish I was Zach in another scenerio and I was captured by Don Turtelli and was tickled on my feet until I talked. The only other character that compares is from a series of stories I read thirty years ago achinese billionare named Sin Li Chan who captured famous female celebrities and ticlked them one time he captured charlies angels but my favorite is when he captured Olivia Newton John and tickled her on the soles of her feet. He even employed a pretty coed from UCLA had her feet sticking through holes of the door of his mansion visitors were instructed to pick up the feather in the box attached to the door tickle the bare soles when the girl laughed it alerted everyone that someone was at the door. I wish I worked for him.

We should act a scene out where you tell me this, all serious, complete with tears in your eyes and dramatic music in the background. I'll slowly nod in quiet understanding before we both get biffed with red dodge balls by natural tickler. We could post it on youtube. It would be a hit!

Wow man that's some really cool information man! I like many others here grew up with TMNT which definetly develped my little tickle interest 🙂 I remember how I use to watch re-runs on the USA channel ever morning at 7:00 hoping to catch that famous episode! I look forward to hearing more!

That sounds alot like the episode where his brother finds Zach's map, which leads to the Turtles' lair.

And the treasure part sounds a bit like "Case of The Hot Kimono" .

HaHaHa I agree with you 100%. I knew I already kinda liked tickling. I might have been 4 or 5 at the time I saw TMNT because I grew up with my brother and all boy cousins. But the whole new concept of tying up....hmmmmmmm. Maybe I'd enjoy tickling a lot more this way instead. I recall one of my males cousins had that exact episode on VHS. There came a point where even at the young age I was at, I felt sort of shy and awkward to be in the same room as everyone else watching it. I ran out of the living room one time and hid under the kitchen table for that part in my aunts house. I recall her asking me "Jill, are you alright sweety? whats the matter?" That is one of my earliest tickling memories thinking to myself "OKAAAYY, I am definitely way different than other people with tickling...." it was my first time I felt shamefull about this. Of course my feelings for it couldn't be too sexual at the time. It took me much longer to realize what a fetish was and how I indeed had a fetish. Tickling scenes on TV are still awkward for me when I am around people who don't know.

I bet I know what episode that was to be. On the TMNT websit if u look through the episode guide episode I think its 76 says there wasn't one due to too many script changes, but I think thats bogus b/c mild Characters such as the Rat King & the Crocodile guy were in more episodes than 3 I can count about 5 for the Rat King himself 1 being The Great Boldini.

verrry cool thank you for the information. this is where my interests in tickling started, im sure the same goes for a lot of other people here as well. I LOVED watching april and zachs sister getting their feet tickled but i also alwaysss fantasized about being zach in that scene. Any people out there that would like to recreate this scene in a role play ?? or am i the only one haha? i could be a perfect zach!
