Fatal Error: Do I need to bitchslap TMF or my computer?

Tried to run a search and got this message back:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 50331648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1048576 bytes) in /home/tforum/public_html/search.php on line 1156

I did it twice and still the same message.

Is it because of the TMF being ass, or my computer being crap?

Your search term is probably returning too many results. When we lengthened the search period so it covered all years of TMF existence we began to see this error. The memory ceiling was raised and most of them went away (judging from the error log). You need to try narrowing the search so it doesn't return so many values.

Either that or everyone is doing lots of stuff right now and the overall memory limit has been reached. Try again during less active periods, eh?

Thanks, DSL. This computer's pretty much bunk as well, which doesn't help.
