I think most people, at one point or another in their lives, find fate giving them a little hint, either to do something, or that they did something right.

Today, for example, I was doing a bit of a round trip, going to many different stores. I happened to swing by a pawn shop, as I was musing about buying a game called "Left 4 Dead 2". At the pawn shop I saw something I hadn't planned on seeing, that being the collectors edition of "Alan Wake". I had wanted to buy that edition for some time now, but as it was fairly expensive, and hard to find, I had held back. At the time, in the pawn shop, I couldn't see the price, so I asked one of the retail guys to open the games case up so I could see how much it would cost. When he did, the price sticker said $35. However, witout any provacation, the guy dropped it down to $20. While I hadn't came to buy this game, and had already rented it and beaten the game, I thought that it might be worth buying, especially at the reduced price. So, i ended up buying the game.

AT this point, I went to my next location, which happened to be a liquor store. As i entered the store, the song that was playing was "Coconut". I'm sure you've all heard the song. "Put the lime in the coconut, and drink it all up" etc. As it just so happens, the "Alan Wake" soundtrack has this particuler song played in the game, and only one of three or four songs from the game I know from the soundtrack.

I'm not saying this is a one in a million chance, or even one in a thousand, but considering this is a song I pretty much never hear on the radio, and it was playing exactly when I entered the store, after buying the collectors edition of the game, which in and of itself is a rarity to find, after the owner dropped the price buy almost 50% by their own choice, I have to wonder if this is a sign.

I've had certain numbers pop up over and over from time to time on license plates, road signs, T-shirts of people walking by, price placards in stores, etc. and it drives me bananas. I don't believe I believe in signs, but What. Are. They. Trying. To. Tell. Me?
