Favorite Beer?

Just curious as to what everyones favorite beer was. Personally I love a good Corona with a twist of lime...

Currently my favorite beer is The Shipyard I.P.A.(india pale ale). If Ann and I are up in Binghamton, I usually pick up some Middle Ages I.P.A. This brewery is out of Syracuse.

Tops: Becks, XXXX Gold and Kirin.

Wrong and Broken: HoffBrau, VB and Tooheys New (tastes like a mouthful of old coins. Don't ask how I know, just trust me).

Not really a drinker, and when I do indulge I prefer sweet girlie drinks with fruit and little umbrellas 😎 But when I do have a beer I really like Pete's Wicked Ale, Killian's Red or Rolling Rock.

Anchor steam beer, out of California (When I can get it). Shlitz ice, which surprised me, I bought it because it was cheap. And good, old, dependable Rolling Rock. To keep my mind clear, an O'Douls goes down nicely!

Yeah, Corona w/ a twist o' lime is good, but my fav. is a local beer, here in Ontario. Sleeman's Cream Ale does it for me everytime.

I opt for the in between beers....no bud or coors for me, and no guiness either. I like the Killian's red type beers. Although, lately anytime I go out I end up having one of those 'hard lemonade' malt beverages..yummy!

You won't know my favorite beer, as it's not available in the States: Kuchlbauer (sparkling wheat beer, a Bavarian speciality).

When I'm in the States, I prefer Pilsner Urquell (available in many good hotels), and I always try small regional or local brands.

Oh, BTW: Bavaria (my home) is the world champion in beer consumption (over 5000 different beers are brewed here). Beer is an important part of our culture, and it's considered staple food here, not just an alcoholic beverage... 😎

my favorite was amstel

but for the last 20 years we can only get the amstel lite, which is a piss poor substitute.
now a-days i'm partial to corona. w/or w/o the lime.
there are several german biers i love. i used to be a bar tender in a couple german bars, lots of fun!

My favorite is:

anything ice cold on a hot day right after I finish cutting the lawn! Aaaaaah.....other than that, I really don't drink beer...or wine either, other than a bit with dinner. One drink a week at my bowling league, and not always that. Sheeesh...how dull...

I don't drink at all, so my favorite beer is whichever is featured in the funny TV commercial I'm watching (Foster's and Budweiser, for example). 😀

don't forget, $20 Australian is about $10 US. Still, it's about twice as expensive as Oz beer which just isn't fair in my opinion!

i can get corona for $4.99 a six-pack. so that's still half your price biggles. gee, maybe we could start a bootleg opperation, lol.
