Favorite Military Branch?

Ok. So I was bored and got to thinking about random things and found myself pondering my favorite branch of the United States Armed Forces:

-Coast Guard
-Navy
-Air Force
-Marines
-Army

Being a relatively pacifistic person I do not have an extensive knowledge of the military so I simply based my decision on mostly opinion and what little knowledge I do have.

My favorite: Army All The Way!!!

I love and respect all our armed forces equally, but the Marines are the top dogs IMO.

I have a cousin who is in the Army. She is currently in Germany.

The Air Force...although my best male friend was an MP in the army..and my dad was a veteran Army Corporal during the Korean War..

Umm,I believe the Navy Seals are the most extensively trained but,if I had to pick one I would want to be in the Coast Guard.I could never make it in any of those,though lol.

Air force, my parents were in the air force, in fact my dad is still serving and about to retire, so that still makes me an army brat lol

Ah the SEALS are certainly good but let us not forget the Army Rangers. They are like the Army version of the Seals.

And don't quote me on it but I believe Ranger training is right up there with Seal training... not sure though... I do know that even some of the best Marines fail numerous times in training to become Rangers.

I honestly,have no idea.lol I know nothing much about any of the bases.All I know is that the SEALS are extremely well trained.The coast guard deals with problems in the sea and the Air Force deals with problems in the air and that Boot Camp looks terrifying and brutal.Not much,I know lol.

Gotta agree with NMKamikaze.... I love and respect ALL of the armed forces, and the men and women who serve in them. That being said... I am ex Navy.. so my opinion is somewhat biased.... Go Navy!! 🙂

Never qualified for regular military, but did join the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

We were treated like officers and were given 'Mess Deck' privileges. They always had good chow.

I belong to a group of people that are volunteer buglers so we honor all who have served and are serving.

Since I am a Major in the Civil Air Patrol and we are the Official Auxiliary to the US Air Force I have to pick the Air Force. When you look at special forces please remember the USAF Pararescue Jumpers. Thanks

The Army Rangers don't really compare to the SEALs, but Army's Delta Force, those guys are intense.

Air Force all the way. I just joined up and am going for USAF SPEC OPS. We're the Air Force equivalent of a NAVY SEAL. So... Air Force!! Air Force!!

Of the branches, the army and navy are the oldest. But, you want a rapid and sustained response to a situation? Send in a carrier group!! Like many, I'm Ex-Navy so possibly a bit biased, but Go Navy!!
