Favorite NES games

Mine's Donatello. He does machines. I be quite the TMNT nut myself. It was the first movie I ever saw in the movie theaters. I distinctly remember seeing all three in the movie theaters, along with all three Jurassic Parks. I didn't get to go to movies much as a kid, but it was always awesome when I did.

Oh, I'm very familiar with that flavor of pain. I was a huge TMNT fan (Was? I still am!), and I got that game as soon as I heard about it. But it was crap! I never even made it as far as you did. I don't remember ever making it past level 2. It just felt like dead end after dead end. There's times when I think about trying again now that I'm older and more experienced, but a sense of dread prevents me.

Oh yes, that game was terrible... which makes it all the more ironic that II and III are among my favorite NES games.

Oh man... this thread. THIS thread. Bringing back memories.

Let's see... unfortunately I didn't own many of the classics so I can't fav them (Metroid and Zelda were some). From what I can remember:

Super Mario Bros 3 (though let's be real, all were good)
Wizards and Warriors (<3)
Dragon Spirit (<3)
Joust
Snow Brothers
Mega Man 2
Double Dragon 2
Master Blaster
Adventure Island 2 (FRICKIN DINOSAURS! <3)
Bubble Bobble
Rampage
BattletoaAHAHAHAHAHA- wooo couldn't say that one with a straight face. Bike level, that was end-game to me... because I never made it past.

Man, time to go pull out my NES and start playing the classics again :lol

Oh yes, that game was terrible... which makes it all the more ironic that II and III are among my favorite NES games.

It would be nice if they could remake TMNT 3: The Hyperstone Heist (known as the Manhattan Project in the USA). I just hope they include unlockables like the Archie comic book characters and power ups and extra bosses and extra enemies as well.
