Boys and girls:
Years ago (late 80s early 90s)before I realized how strong my feet and tickling fetishes were I came across an issue of a magazine called VARIATIONS,in it was an advertising for some tickling videos.I remember the phrase "Feather Power" in it.Also an address in Van Nuys California.I actually bought a sampler from them which seemed very good to me at the time.I bought an issue of that magazine years later but the advertisement was no longer there.
I threw the video away for fear my little secret would be known.
Do you think that perhaps REALTICKLING is the same company?
I want to hear your imput before I bother them with an e-mail.

As far as I can remember, it was on one of the Platinum samplers. I have no idea whether this company still exists. IMO, it was much weaker than any of today's realtickling vids, but the choice of tickling vids was VERY limited at that time... 🙂

I also recall that "Feather Power" was a Platinum product. The Van Nuys address is the give-away. That's where all the adult video operations were located (and still are). Platinum took a bunch of usually generic porn actresses, probably on a break from doing the old in-out, and had them goof around with feathers. Sometimes there was light bondage, but it was more often of the wrestling variety. It seemed like a sideline that they put little effort into.

At the time, it was exciting to actually see naked women in the same room with feathers and such--until you realized that it was exactly that--proximity rather than passion. Nobody tickled very hard, nobody laughed very hard--it really was like a bunch of people goofing around on their lunch break. It was just harder to recognize low quality when that's all there was. Even CalStar was better and their stuff seems pretty lame today.

As the tickling audience has gotten more discriminating and as there have emerged real vendors who know what they are doing and seem to care, the Platinums of the world have receded into the background. I think they still do some spanking and such, but any tickling they might still be turning out is probably not worth buying, especially when there are real tickling vendors with a range of products for a range of tastes out there. You'll see more real ticking in five minutes of a Magic Touch or FemFeet tape than in five hours of Platinum junk.

I went through dozens of search engines in putting together my links page and didn't come across Platinum. So, I'm inclined to think they're out of the tickle video line. I'd check out Magic Touch if I were you. I like them the best.

I think Prestige is out of business now. It is very hard to find any of their videos. The tickling videos were all kind of lame though at the time I thought they were hot because there was nothing else. Tickling videos have come a long way since then.

I remember this film as the first one I'd seen centered on foot fetishism. I'm not sure it is in existence today, but it had excellent tickling and foot worship scenes in it.

Man...I just dug out all the archives and found everthing you could imagine EXCEPT anything called Tickle Power!!! I went through all the old Platinum catalogs, EEE, Maybird, TJ's, WWT, Solefully Yours and Star. Could not find anything called that. Even found my copy of the first "Tickling Times" Mag and some old stuff from Tobias Hacker and my old Barefoot Digests. Sorry...no luck here!
