It's well known in here that we are all obviously tickling fetishists and I would venture to say that some of us are foot fetishists...ladies, it's time to come clean, so to speak

Are you asking how many chicks here have a foot fetish? Quite a few, but not all.

That always intrigued me. I feel like foot fetishism is predominantly a male oriented fetish be it m/f or m/m. Rarely if ever have I heard of a woman who absolutely loves sucking a guy's toes or anything of the like. Obviously they exists, but I feel like males typically are the ones to fetishize (sic) specific body parts i.e. feet, ass, breasts etc. since we're the more visual-based gender, while women have a tendency to fantasize on a deeper more emotional level....not necessarily cliche romantic novels or that 50 shades rubbish, but more like complex story lines or scenarios. These are just generalizations and I'm sure you get examples of both types of individuals amongst both genders, but I believe it's a solid outlining explanation of the skewed demographics.

We throw around the word "fetish" here, but I think the number of people who really have a "foot fetish" or "tickle paraphilia" is low. I think for most of us, it is just a huge turn-on.

A sexual psychologist defines the word as: obsession in which all sexual pleasure is almost exclusively derived from a single object, body part or sex practice.

I can have sex and get turned on just fine without tickling involved.

He goes on to say that since men are wired to become aroused more quickly, by a glance of something or a voice whereas women require multiple cues and more time to become aroused, that may be one reason.

If that is the case, I must suffer from female fetishism. 😀

To clarify: The word he was describing was fetish in general, not female fetishism.

Tickling is absolutely a fetish for me, I can not get out off without it. Feet are a turn-on, I love touching/tickling/worshipping, even sometimes toe-sucking, for male or female feet.

Wait a second... I should have put this in bold:

I am obsessed with sex practice with females. 😛

As a long time fetishist, I've done a fair amount of research about this. According to the DSM, fetishism itself is almost always a propsensity of the male -- although there are certainly exceptions. Annie is on the money -- by definition, a fetish is a passion (ok, not the best term) often for things not related to normal sexual objects and features (like T&A) that are required to achieve gratification. I have a hair fetish, and men and women both have hair -- they also, of course, both have feet, ears, noses and the rest of the package. If you look them up, many many fetishes are for non human items and situations (fur, scat, animals, preference for senior citizens as partners, shoes, boots, corsetry, toiletries, ad infinitum). I wouldn't say that loving the female form is fetishism -- so I don't think there's a "female fetish" or "male fetish" (either for straight or gay folks). In the list of paraphilias, tickling is among them -- so there must be somethin' to it. </2 cents>

So you have problems getting off on your own?

Not really. Masturbating is still great as long as it involves only a female in the fantasy. Whether, it's her wholesome self, or a part of her body that I am interested in fantasizing at that point in time(feet, legs, ass, or boobs for me), unless I feel adventurous. Put it this way, my female fetishism does not allow me to get turned on with a guy in the frame, because I will get jealous; not really - I just won't watch it. It can be a solo scene, first POV, F/F, etc...

So you don't need a female physically present.

All jokes aside, I think you're intelligent enough to realize what I meant.

Yes, I do. But, a thread like this - how can you take it seriously in the first place? The OP asks...

ladies, it's time to come clean, so to speak

And, you reply:

by a glance of something or a voice whereas women require multiple cues and more time to become aroused

That personifies truth; unless, your a nymphomaniac, and is addicted to orgasms of the biological/physical nature constantly. Females, like you, have a little more self-control then we males do, in regards to hormones running rampant.

To be honest, I don't think it's necessarily self-control, rather the way women are "wired" so to speak. One of the most common sexual problems for women is not being able to achieve orgasm, likely due to the inability to relax / focus. It tends to take a lot longer for women versus men, and also women don't have to masturbate as often to avoid discomfort. Biologically, it of course makes sense that men are so sex-driven this way. And in turn, I believe that leads to men having more fetishes. Also, growing up, I noticed there seemed to be a stigma that it was more allowed for men to be sexual versus women. That may also inhibit women who do have a fetish/paraphilia to allow themselves to indulge.

EDIT: I was hoping most people understand that while this may be the case for some, it's not the case for all. But perhaps I should put this little bit here, just in case.
