I want to make next tribute to Scavenger. 😎
Main idea: four arms means four armpits. And four armpits this is double tickling-fun! =))
But I need an some consultations about details...
To Scav:
- How looks militarians in this universe?(I mean soldiers and officers)
- How looks typical leotaur's clothes?(on the sketch I used the Egyptian-like clothes)
- I need some details about leotaur's anatomy. (I almost sure, my sketch contains some mistakes)

Please, tell me more about your leotaurs. I haven't enough information. Where I can read about it?

P.S.And I have question to folks: I should continue work on this picture, or this idea was actually not such funny how I thought? :|

More Rgevskiy artwork, the first is quite awhile! So pleased to see you're still active in the Community! And this preliminary sketch is excellent, nicely detailed with plenty of attitude! The brief, Egyptian-themed costume looks fine to me, perfectly appropriate! Actually, I believe leotaurs are the creation of Sablesword rather that Scav... Scav has certainly done impressive illustrations of them, as he and Sablesword have worked in close concert on several projects. But your reasoning is perfectly sound and the drawing is a feast for UB fans (glad to see the feet weren't neglected either!) My only wish would be to see other of Scav's classic characters involved... Kitzalia, Maryke, and the rest of her retinue. The military uniforms of the interrogators are prim and very nicely styled, however!

That's a great sketch to start with, Rgevskiy! About the leotaur questions, it's as Littlebighead says, while I did make siome illustrations about this setting, it was Sablesword who invented the Krakens and Leotaurs. Check out his stories. He did a story once about a male human trooper that is captured by Leotaurs. That story gives a pretty good description of what female leotaurs look like. As far as I can remember, the well-muscled male leotaurs are the soldiers of their race, while the smaller females are technicians and scientists.
As for human military clothing, I don't know wether Sablesword described it, but if he didn't, you could inspire on the MK2 Space Armour that Tina Parsec currently wears (or the MK1 from "Crashlanded") as the Teepod-universe (in my first illustration) was originally quite similar to that of Tina.
There's probably going to be some kind of heavier armour (power armour) as well for guards or support troops. I imagine officers will wear some kind suits that are a cross between of "modern day" military uniforms and tight fitting "star trek" uniforms. Perhaps with decorative shoulderpads for high ranking officers. Perhaps they'll wear some kind of helmets with build in comm-systems and/or data-visors.
Again, since this universe is mostly Sableswords work, you'll better check with him on how things really look in his universe. Of course, its always possible a new human nation/empire with it's own distinctive look has arisen among the stars, which would be entirely yours to invent and design. 🙂

Anyways, I'll be looking forward to the finished drawing!! 🙂

4 armpits?! holy crap!
thats an instant win right there

Let me second the suggestion that you look at Sablesword's stories. And I say this as a completely disinterested outside observer 😉 😉

I mostly describe the humans as being stripped of clothing. But both the humans and the leotaurs (and the kraken) make use powered armor (except when supressor fields prevent its use, as in "Cutting Out Expedition"). Ordinary uniforms are, as Savenger said, a cross between modern military uniforms and the costumes on Star Trek. And there are pirates, mercenaries, and independent planets, some of whom have very strange ideas of what military uniform should look like.

The leotaurs often use "eyepatch readers" aka data-monocles, rather than data-visors. Especially the commanders. Scavenger did a painting of a leotaur carrying a human prisoner, where the leotaur wore an eyepatch reader and carried an old-fashioned/traditional "gaffer" (albeit one made of the latest, toughest alloys). The female prisoner was partly stripped (barefoot, among other things) but still wore the remains of a human military uniform.

Here it is: http://www.tickletheater.com/showthread.php?t=31382

Note that both sides had put on light armor before the assault; they couldn't use powered armor because of the suppressor field that the Jackalope had up. (Of course the Jackalope could have lowered her supressor field, but then the humans would have had an even worse chance, going from "probably will lose" to "certain doom.")

Oh, and it isn't that male leotaurs are warriors and females are techs. Rather there are jock/warrior leotaurs (both male and female), and geek/technician leotaurs (again both male and female). Sort of like the human ectomorph/mesomorph/endomorph body types, only somewhat more pronounced.

The male-female difference is that male jocks are heavily muscled ("buff"), while female jocks are lean-and-muscled ("rangy"). The male geek leotaurs are skinny scrawny types and the female geeks run toward being stocky or even pudgy.

I don't know what a leotaur is, but I'm assuming it has something to do with star wars. An interesting rendition, great position for the armpit lovers out there.
