A number of females sitting on stocks in the Italian Faires section. See also the Artwork section.
I am not the owner of that web site. But I did some research about that Italian Faire on the web. It appears it is the reenactment of the Canelli Siege of 1613. It is held in either the third weekend or the second weekend of June every year for two days. I was told that "During the show, girls and women are often "held prisoners" by guards if they don't have a special pass called "Tiletto". The guards put them in stocks and tickle them in many ways." Canelli is located in the Asti (Piedmont) region of northwest Italy. Here are some non-tickling pictures: http://www.scrimalazoiosamantova.it/ (click Foto - Canelli 2003) and what appears to be the Town of Canelli's web page: http://www.comune.canelli.at.it/. Hope someone would pay a visit and bring back some more pictures. It seems that there are many other faires in Italy but I do not know whether they have stocks for the visitors.
