Hi Group,
At the end of this little note is the web address to a trailer for FETISH DOLLS DIE LAUGHING. Please note that this is not the official trailer as it is compiled of scenes shot on video and not digital--so the quality is not the greatest. Also, it takes close to ten minutes for it to download, sorry, but I have no control over stuff like that.
And yes, I've noticed that some of the make-up isn't always perfect (I thought I'd mention it first before some wise guys start making derogatory comments--I've been around long enough to know that there's always a few who would rather dwell on a works shortcomings rather than enjoy the effort taken to make a movie).
I thought it interesting the producer's choice to only show a little of the acual tickling, but a lot of build up to it. I know there's a few horror fans out there who are fans of "drop dead beauty" Tiffany Apan, you get to see a bit of her scene where she's noosed and standing on a shaky bucket. And I like the use of the question "Are you ticklish?" as the tagline.
And finally, and I bring this up only because it became an issue back when I posted the web link to the original site over on Tickle Theater: all of the women in the film are not only over 21, but in a couple cases over 30. There were no children tickled in this movie!!! Thank you.

Why create a 170 megs preview, when you could hack it into smaller segments and post those over the TMF and reach a wider audience?

The movie will definately be marketed as a horror movie. There's a second storyline in the film that involves the investigation of another serial killer; plus there's the story of the detectives on the case and how it is affecting them.
The tickling always leads to some kind of gruesome death for the "victim" and knowing the producers as well as I do, those moments will be played up a little more than the tickling. But there is a lot of tickling in the film.
My character does quite a bit of foot licking/tickling; which, if the crew reaction is any indication--people not into fetish will find those scenes either screamingly funny, or gross; both of which can work for a dark comedy horror film.
I agree it will be tricky--suggestions were made to change the title to DOLLS DIE LAUGHING so that the fetish angle is played down. I like that idea. But then again, whatever company distributes it may well have their own ideas on what to title it. We'll see ...

I'm truly sorry that it's so difficult to download. It took me several attempts as it died out for me around the 66% mark. I kept playing it up to that point and eventually it went through.
The final product won't be this problematic. This was a rush job to get something out there.

I had no trouble with the download, looks great. Hopefully this will be one of the first tickling videos that are actually real movies with well-done plots and characters (as opposed to the pathetic attempts by companies like Cal-Star and Vid-Tech). I think the very first one was TickleTelevision's first production; I heard good things about it, though I haven't seen it.

I have one question: how big will the erotic aspect of the movie be? What I mean is, will the actresses show a lot of skin?

Yes, the movie does have a very precise plot, and a lot of characters that aren't involved at all in the tickling.
The reason it seems in the trailer that it's all tickling is because that's the footage they had available for this first attempt.
As to nudity--I understand there is one nude scene in the film--I didn't write a nude scene initially, it's something the producers put in.
In most of the tickle torture scenes the women are dressed in various outfits.

Thanks for all the interest. Unfortunately the movie is still sitting at the producer's house unedited! I've run into a couple of the actresses who were tickled in the movie and they've expressed frustration over the movie still not even close to being released.
I've contacted the producers but all they do any more is hem and haw about not having the means to edit since they lost their last studio. Meanwhile they're supposedly working on their next movie! I don't get it. There are alot of angry people out there. Especially the actresses who submitted to my tickling them take after take and they can't even see it--or get some film exposure for it.
This is unfortunately solidly out of my hands.

Oops!

The credits section of the clip has a glaring error. The word "starring" is spellied wrong! They spelled it "staring" as in, staring blankly at the screen. Oops!
