Fighting Game Fans: Do You Like Mortal Kombat?

I still love the damn games...the new one, "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance", is awesome...one of the best fighters I've played, in fact....any MK fans here?

I just got that game. Man is it hard. I'm still trying to learn all the moves for the characters. And I swear, the computer learns the moves you used to defeat the last opponent, and is ready for them with the next one.

I haven't played a fighting game since MK3, so I'm a little out of practice.

One thing I don't like about the game, they have the Konquest mode to teach you the combos and special moves, but some of the combos require you to pause in the middle of the sequence, but they don't tell you where or for how long. You have to figure that out on your own.

Having been away from MK for awhile, I recently jumped on this with a friend, and I like the system, especially how you can change fighting styles. What I DIDN'T like was all the cheesy so-called "extras".

Mortal Kombat's a cool game. When I still played games a lot (I'm familiar with only the first 3), it was one of my faves. 😀
