If you go to a ball, then somtimes you fill out a dance card that way no one person is standing alone with no one to dance with. Married people tend to clump and I think this was a way to get them to open up. More social interaction that way. Did I explain it good?

ps And when it comes to throwing balls, I've got the biggest balls of all- or somthing like that?
