It didn't take you long to solve your scanner problems! I like the costuming in this picture, that heavy coat with its hint of buckskin and strange florid collar. The inverted attitude is well achieved, too: the hair and clothing fall believably, and the suggestion of suspension (the balance and sag) looks just right for a person hanging by one leg. I look forward to any further additions; a background would indeed spiff it up, I think.

Anyways, about the new pic, it's very cute and it's set in the mines, just like in my story. All it really needs is some color and I'd call it another finished piece.
