Final Hurdle in Rogue Squadron (PC)...PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi Guys. Awhile back, I asked for some help with a few codes in the PC version of LucasArts' Rogue Squadron, and was pleased to get some very helpful replies. If anyone is still into this game, I could really use your help now.

I've gotten the Gold Medal rating on all levels except two. The first is "Blockade of Chandrilla"...I can get the speed and accuracy, etc. down, but I can't find the bonus to collect for the gold rating....where the hell is it??

And I can't even finish the mission on "Escape From Fest"...No matter how fast I fly and how well I shoot, the At-Pt's get destroyed within minutes. If I go after the At-At's, the portable cannons get them, if I go after the Cannons, the Walkers get them...how do possibly pull this level off? Is there some strategy I have yet to try? I've tried waiting on blowing up the sheild generator, in hopes that I'd have fewer enemies to face...I've tried shooting ahead and eliminating all the walkers first, I've tried searching for some sort of starting point for those damn tanks...

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Force of Arms...

Are you SURE you have to destroy them Dave...I've seen some clever games where there are impossible situations that require you to actually walk on by or just endure and get through. Not having played this one, I can only speculate...tried using the Force? 😉 Q

Hi Dave, girl-friend-less nerd at your service buddy. I can help with the Chandrilla thing, but Escape from Fest screwed me up too. It took repeated playings and a quick look at a walk-through to get me onto Gold for that one.

Chandrilla: After you protect the three landing shuttles from the walkers (forget what they're really called) you turn around and fly as quick as you can around the edge of the city back the way you came. You'll find another one of those two-legged walkers firing on a group of three buildings. Ventilate that walker and you'll find your bonus.

Fest: be sure to take out the huge-assed walkers as fast as you can. They can really feck up the PTs you're trying to protect. Don't forget that the PTs can shoot on their own and aren't entirely helpless. Make long slow passes to try and take out each row of tanks in one go. The thing that hurt me about this level was the accuracy and number of kills required. Also, having to fly the Speeder didn't help...
