I've done a major update to the tickling chat program I've talked about before, it works much better now, and deletes users off the list when they are no longer online (so you whenever you get paired up with someone it should work, no more "This user has signed off the internet please try again" - I know it took me a long time, but this was not an easy task!!!. I have also made some other small changes and tested it out as much as I could and it seems to work good.
I am going to work on my website right after I post this and my ftp server is back up and running (as is the actual chat program server).
I have an idea to get more users with this version. I have an extremely large selection of tickling clips (547 clips which take up 1.23 gigabytes of space). I am sharing these files on an ftp server, but there is one catch. The ftp server password changes everyday, and in order to get the password, all you need to do is sign on to my chat program and receive the new password. Once you get the password you can use any program (like cute-ftp or cool-ftp, these are all free) to quickly and easily download some clips. If you are having trouble finding an ftp program, you can always simply use internet explorer to access the files or search cnet.com or download.com for "ftp". The new version of the program comes with a text file that has explanations for anyone that’s confused with ftp servers (ftpReadme.txt).
Well anyways, this should attract many users, and therefore make the program popular. Once the program is popular, it is easy to find someone to connect to, so more people should get paired up, it's as simple as that.
Last time I posted this about 70 people downloaded it. The old client version will not work with the new server! I repeat, you must download the new program to connect, the old one will not work.
