First Visit To Citi Field

My friend Barney, who previously stated he hated baseball, had such a good time at the Yankees game we went to last week, that he wanted to go to the Mets-Cubs game tonight. So, we went.

It was my first visit to Citi Field, and I personally think the place is fantastic. While new Yankee Stadium is very pretty, in my opinion Citi Field is even more awesome. It has that great ballpark feeling.

I was rooting for the Mets to win. They lost a very exciting game, 8-7. and nearly rallied from a five run deficit.

Of course, the food was awesome. I had a Nathan's hot dog, fries, pretzel, piece of pizza, and several diet cokes, for the low price of 40, lol.

My dad and I are supposed to go to a Sunday afternoon game against the Braves in August. I hope its cool, weatherwise.

Thoughts on Citi Field for anyone whose been there?

Yes, danny, I know. The food prices at Citi are very high.
