Hello all,

just posting this as a separate message so everyone can see it. I just started a hotline server too. Viendi told me where to download the client, and i have 2.6gb of tickling files up and ready for download. If you want to upload some files or something to my account just email me or pm me. ill give you the user name and pass you need.

Hmm. I went to the site: ftp://24.194.53.101 However it never gave me the opportunity to enter the login or password. It just told me that I didn't have permission on the server.

Umm I was finally able to login to this hotline account...I even managed to d/l some files....the problem is, well, I don't have the slightest idea where I downloaded them to....does anyone know how to find/change the directory that the file are d/l ed to?

yeah. first off, redmage, you need to download the hotline client. then you can access my files. I hope that answers your question too, tickletheater. And Duo...the files that you downloaded should be in a folder called hotline client downloads.

duo maxwell, if you havent found them already, just doenload something else and make a note of where its saving to. The likelyhood is its the same place as before. I know this because Ive done it myself!

Ok now i got the Client but when I try to connect to the server it says :
Remote host refused connection!
Why?

Ticktort hasn't posted anything in over seven months. It is entirely possible that the server, or at the least the offered port that hotline uses, no longer exists, or the IP address changed. When a post is a year and a half old, that can happen.

Did you try emailing ticktort? He offered that as an option.
