Story idea:

Girl leaves her boyfriend for another. Despondant boyfriend commits suicide. Girl and her new lover leave town.

With me so far?

Years later the lovers return to town and are confronted by her ex's family and friends. She protests they're in love. They decide to see how strong their love is. They're attached to a device that tickles one when the other keeps their button pressed. This goes on for a while, when finally the girl is on the verge of giving up, her lover breaks and confesses it was wrong to seduce her and drive her ex to suicide.

Okay?

Just one thing.

The girl and her lover are lesbians.

Is the story homophobic or no?

We assumed this is directed primarily at us! Well it's a concept that we have read about.... we personally would prefer not for this story to be attempted because it paints a negative connotation about our sexuality! For all our suggestive comments.... Heather and I (Anna) would only love each other (we won't discuss that one time!). If the story was despondent girlfriend than no problem! But we would prefer that a story which makes someone of a particular sexuality appear deviant, which oft makes it appears one of all, all of that sexuality are so, was not written! If you want to write it... it's your right.... but we would prefer not to read it. It would almost certainly have to feature offensive, derogatory language we definitely do not want to read in a fic! But again Duannewalton, it is your right to write it, just as it is ours to complain! Personally as said before we would prefer that it was not written... but your choice! Ask TicklishVampire (who prefers */m) how he would feel also if it was the reverse, two gay men and a suicidal girlfriend to see if it's just us! Still we would as reiterated repeatedly prefer it was not written!

P.S TO answer your question, some might see it that way, others not! It's just this wouldn't happen if it was a girl and a boy and a dead boy, so.....!

You are free to write, but suicide is not joke, and pin it to love is not really ideal. You may not intend to offend, however....

Not that would not be possible to make a great novel with the topic of love suicide, see in fact "Werther" by Goethe.
