Dodger, we are not arguing, we are having a healthy exchange of ideas and perspectives. That's exactly what this forum is for. I want people to feel free to discuss things with anyone. That I am in charge is not an issue. I like to debate. I'll not delete a post because I personally disagree with it.
To answer your point, I'll simply state that every business holds a different idea of how to best present and sell the products they produce. In Gabby's case I don't know the reasoning behind her choices, but perhaps she simply feels that she wants control over when and where people sample her material. She clearly feels the product sells itself without clips. She wouldn't still be in business if it didn't, so her model works.
And remember, as we have all learned the bandwidth for clips can add up and get expensive.
Clearly Gabby's model doesn't work for you. But then perhaps she's not marketing to you alone. As an old timer I remember buying videos based on name alone. One would drop $40 in the mail and hope for the best. Sometimes you got a TK-7 other times you got a TK-2. The wealth of pictures she provides for any video more then tells ME enough. More might be better, but I don't need it.
Femfeet and Magic Touch provide clips because they feel that it helps sell their version of product. It fits their business model. If they found they could sell as many videos without clips, don't think for an instant that they would keep making clips.
As one who has produced and helped market a tickling video, I can speak to the fact the quality doesn't equal sales. And conversely a clip is not always needed if the product looks good. It all depends on if a lot of people like what they see on a gut level, and stills can do that job. Dorothy sold a ton of Cathryn's Tickling Torment based on still images alone.
