Hey everybody. I've been trying to find out some things about football camps and the such. I want to get into football but I didn't go to high school. I got my GED. I don't know a lot about playing, but I'm 6'2" and 268 lbs. I'm trying to find camps and open games, like charity games, but I'm not having much luck. If anyone can help I would apreciate it.

What type of camp?

Are you looking to join a semipro team or something? Or for a camp where they teach the game and the fundamentals of the positions? Perhaps for a spot where college coaches are hanging out looking for walk on talent? There's a lot of types of camps and groups and such...I suggest you clarify a bit and then wait for Tron (I think he's an ex pro or semi pro player or something) to wander in and give you a bit more insight. Q

Just do what Forrest Gump did. Run in the middle of a football team's practice.

A few years ago one guy made a video of himself going through drills and such,then sent the vid to an NFL team,I believe the San Diego Chargers.As a result,he did make the team and played pro for a bit.
