has any one ever thought about whether it tickles more to be tied tight or loose? I personnaly think tight is better.

I think it depends on those involved. There is a sense of vulnerability when you're tied up. So, that would definitely add to it. But, if you truly trust the person who's tickling you, that could be minimal. For me personally, I think it's as much a sense of helplessness in the inablility to struggle and get away from it that gets to me.

My girlfriend is more ticklish loose, definitely. When she's tied she's pretty much only underarm ticklish. When loose, everything becomes ticklish on her. I think she relaxes when tied because she knows she can't do anything about it. And the more relaxed one becomes, I think there beceomes an expectation of being tickled some places which is kinda like tickling yourself. you know it's coming so it's much much less.
But when loose, I guess using muscles to try to get away causes tension which makes for more ticklishness. *shrug* just a guess.

If tied at all. I prefer loose. I tend to get crampy, so I need the flexibility. I also need my vices that allow me to last as long as I do. Playfully slapping my tickler and throwing things across the room definately help. Right QB? grrrrrrrrr

It also depends on the style of tickling involved and whether or not it is prolonged tickling and at what intensity the tickling is sought.

The tickleee being restrained is alot....safer for all involved especially if the leeeeee is extremely ticklish and a real fighter. Unless of course there are alot of ticklers involved and the lee is pinned down by the lers.

Soooooo many variables. Sooo many scenarios.

For regular play, I like some slack, where the lovely 'lee can thrash around a bit.

But for more serious or role-play scenes, with a willing partner of course 🙄 , I do like stricter bondage. Grad mentioned a girl who was more ticklish loose. I had the opposite with an ex of mine. She was about average in looser restraints, but strap her down completely and she became a quivering pile of Jell-O. 😀

I support giving my 'lee what she wants. I *have* noticed, though, that looser restraints allow for greater possibility of chaffing the skin and bruising the bound points, 'cause 'lees flail more oft than not.

I like it when my tickler ties me nice and tightly. I need to be restrained. Then and only then can I really let myself go and laugh from the tickling. I like to surrender to my tickler completely. I don't feel like I've been taken correctly if my bondage isn't tight. Nothing is better to me then being tickled and helplessly laughing.

As much as I have been pinned/tied and tickled, I have hardly ever been in a position where I couldn't move at all (I would love to experience that! 🙂 ).

I was tied one time and the guy actually positioned himself where he was holding me down and actually immobolized me completely with his body.

OHHHHHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYYYYYY GOOOOOOOOOOOD! Is all I can say! It was the closest I have ever come to breaking! (Course he isn't a tkp like us, so he didn't realize it) HaHa! I the thought of anyone breaking me is even more laughable... HAHAHAHA.... gulp!

I personally LOVE a good tickle wrestling match where I am free to move and squirm as my body so desires to do. But that, of course, requires a pretty strong and capable partner, since I am quite the handful, and do tend to get a bit wild, unintentionally.

On the other hand, I have NOTHING against going down in bondage, providing it is comfortable. It is often in the best interest of my Lers that I do, to prevent them from getting injured (ask TTD about that one...lol). I do have to admit though, that I have never been TOTALLY restrained, to the point where I feel completely helpless, and I have to admit the very thought of it is quite exciting. I am curious as to how it would affect my over-all ticklishness.

Perhaps one of these days I will get around to testing it out 🙂

I have to go with bondage, not only for safety reasons, but being tied forces me to endure it for a MUCH longer time...no running away, grabbing her hands, etc. I also prefer stricter bondage as well...nothing to do but just lie there and laugh and scream my head off. I thrash, claw, and kick if not restrained. I prefer to be totally helpless, preferaby with soft, padded cuffs.

Actually, I like to tie the armpits, just a little loose...
Just enough so they can pulls on the bonds but can't protect their arms no matter how hard they pull, helps to increase the feeling of helplessness.
But you must be sure that the wrists are bond correctly and safely as the lee will put much effort into getting away...
