So, I've sent quite some time in the foot/tickle communities and have noticed that most guys and gals who talk to and play with me prefer to be my submissive and be under my feet...and I dislike it very much.

I have no trouble finding those who wish to call me "Madame" or "Mistress", but that's not what I want/require. I'm someone who enjoys being someone's sub. I love being tied up and tickled and while subs can somewhat provide the tickles I crave, they lack the sadistic energy that I find...intoxicating...from someone more dominant. I feel like I'm playing a role that I'm being forced into due to the lack of more dominant people that I have met. It also doesn't help that the few dominant people who "claim" they want to give me what I crave back out on me or lead me on until they find an excuse not to go through with it. It is quite tiresome.

I know what you mean about craving the sadism of a merciless ler. 😉 I don't get that urge all the time, but when I do, it's pretty intense. And something about being dommed to such a large degree feels VERY good. There's something zen-like in the feeling of losing all free will.

As for your problem, unfortunately, I don't have any useful advice other than to keep trying until you find someone with enough of a dominating streak to mesh with your desires. Hopefully someone will click.

Additionally, don't let anybody force you to do something you don't like doing. It's pretty elementary.

It's actually a problem that I have run into over the years. I'd consider myself much more of a switch, so while I can be pretty ruthless on the giving end, there are times when I just don't have any dominant energy and I'd rather be the 'lee. Yet ticklers seem to be rare enough that I crave those instances of 'leeing because of how rare they are.

I can understand the dilemma. You really don't -want- to be the dominant, but if you go with just pure submission, you're in the same boat as all those other people, trying to find those ever-elusive dominants and you might not get to engage in as much activity as you'd like.

It seems true that dominants are in way shorter supply than submissives. I thought, back when I first joined, that it was the other way around. I wonder if it's the actual dom/sub ratio that's changed, or if it's just my perspective?

Oh yeah, I've been there. I'm a switch myself with admittedly lee leanings. There is nothing more frustrating than getting online cuz you're feeling stressed and leeish and having a crowd of people pm you obviously trying to get you to 'ler.

I have friends I can just openly say "Dah, feeling too stressed to ler @.@" too and have them understand, but frequently I feel too guilty to turn people down, so get roped in. I've learned that sometimes honesty is the best policy though--plus that way the other party doesn't have the disappointment of a with a ler who really isn't into it.

This is the kind of reply that really just requires a "THIS" after it. If you prefer being a sub, don't tell people that you're a tickler or a switch, hoping that you will find another sub-switch that you can rotate with. That never works when it comes to tickling, because really, you like what you like and were frozen around the age of 4, and you're just meeting someone like yourself who'd really rather be the ticklee. Because they are also ticklees.
