Mr.T--tasted like Captain Crunch to me
E.T.--sort of a peanutty concotion
Smurf Berry Crunch--forgot how these were
Nerds--just like the candy, sort of similar to Fruity Pebbles


My favoritest lost cereal of the '80s is Waffleos--a maple
syrupy-waffley thing. Man, them was tasty. Waffleos probably rubbed
more raw spots on the roof of my mouth than any other sweet cereal.

This had to have been my favorite cereal, then. To this day, I've never tasted a cereal that even remotely resembled Smurf Berry Crunch. A couple years later, they came out with a Smurf cereal that had marshmallows in it, but it didn't compare to the original.

Anyone remember Crispy Critters cereal? They were like animal-shaped Kix. The commercial is a big childhood memory for me. With this corn-ball puppet of one of the pieces of cereal singing like Jimmy Durante, and all the other animals coming marching out of the box and singing to this little girl. Then for some reason they all take turns saying "Indubidably". I loved that commercial. Heh. Mwah!

Remember all those cereals were back when cereal was really bad for you!!!! LOL
Flinstone cereal in 1980 was "dont eat that sugar crap it'll rot your teeth!!!!"
Today, the same cereal has more in it than most multivitamins, and like no sugar, lol.

Pac-Man Cereal

Does anybody remember Pac-Man cereal? They had little corn puffs shaped like Pac-Man and the ghosts were marshmellows.

I always wanted to try it, but my mom would never buy it. She just said "you may as well be eating a bowl full of sugar, instead".

Well...from the 70's, my favorite cereal's were called Quisp and Quaker. I really have not been a big cereal fan since, but when I do buy one it is usually Captain Crunch!
