Franklin Institute Pompeii exhibit

If anyone is in the Philadelphia, PA area and wants to see the Pompeii exhibit at the Franklin Institute, I highly recommend it! I went to the members premier last night and the exhibit was excellent! it gave an accurate account of what a day was like in Pompeii through artifacts. Any history buffs out there should consider taking this tour if they are close enough.

Sounds wonderful, wish I could see it. I love Philadelphia. Must visit again someday.

I always found this cast of a dog found in the ashes disturbing; nightmarish how suddenly the city was consumed in the pyroclastic flow.
