Free Pocket Ninjas E-Comic

Hey that comic used to cost money didn't it? Why the change?

I'm making a mainstream version of this comic meaning tickling will no longer be the main focus. So instead of just deleting this and letting it die. I've decided to give it away for free.

I wasted 6 bucks and I thought this had potential to work as a tickle comic.

Better be a damn good mainstream comic.

I will check out your other works...but I am still a little miffed about the 6 bucks...no not really

That's pretty cute. Although it won't be the main focus, will there still be tickling in it. I'd probably still be interested if it wasn't but still.

Actually the scene with Molly here will happen again and there is another scene which I can't really talk about.

The art style is really cute, and the premise seems rife for fun and (hopefully) more tickling action. I really enjoyed this one, thank you for posting it!

I agree. I hope you can share some of the mainstream with us!

BTW, Kunzite, where did you get your avatar from? That's an impeccable art style right there!

Thanks for the posts guys. I'm actually planning on posting the first 2 chapters of the mainstream version. Give people a good idea about what the manga is about.

Thanks for all the posts. Tell your friends. Free e-comic here.

Thanks for sharing it
They look pretty lovely!
I know it can be pretty difficult trying to tell a story and focus it on tickling, you make your desired scene and then what++
I\know its harder to make a logical, coherent story and add tickling as a personal detail, but I consider your characters deserve to be more than just being tickled, it would be like reducing them (no pun intended) to just meat!
Well, good luck

Thank you very much. To be honest with you those were my feelings about this as well. It is hard to tell a story and include tickling in it. Especially when you have only so many pages you can afford to pay for. When I first created the 'Pocket Ninjas' I had an idea to create a mainstream manga for them, but I couldn't afford it. So I decided to create a tickling comic first and then release the manga later on. Still even if I did that I would have to butcher my own story. This little section here. It just 10 pages out of 198 that I have planned for the mianstream version. And because it's tickling I couldn't really have the ending I want.

Anyways thanks for understanding. I really appreciate it. And the support.

I don't make a habit of doing laundry in public, but this "artist" needs to own up to his actions. When he first released this book, I enthusiastically purchased it. Not more than a day later, he lowered the price. He did not contact, either on the forum or by e-mail, anyone who paid the higher price. I e-mailed him and he said that he would make it up to anyone who paid the full price with a free copy of the second issue. Now, not only is no second issue likely, but he's giving the thing away for free, and not bothering to care about those, like myself, who paid full price or those who paid the reduced price (but still paid). This is akin to the stunt apple pulled when they unveiled the new iphone, and promptly lowered the price shortly after tens of thousands bought them (albeit on a smaller scale). I felt that this was wrong, and, since I had already spoken to him about this, I sent him another e-mail expressing my annoyance. Here it is:
"Hiya,

I raised concerns when you did a drastic price reduction shortly after you released your pocket ninja book. I can't speak for your other customers, but it's getting annoying for those of us who paid full boat to see you reduce the price and then give it away for free. I know you mentioned a free second issue, but when that will materialize I have no idea. It doesn't sit well that you charge for this book and then give it away for free. It pisses your paying customers off, and they are not likely to return. I think you need to make up your mind. Are you charging or is it free. I can honestly say, given your practices, I'm not going to go running to buy anymore of your books. I'm better off waiting to see if you just give them up for free.

webmaster joe"

His response:

"Piss off is the only thing I'm going to say. Who cares what annoys you?"

Obviously, he only cares about a customer when they open their wallet. I posted this to give fair warning to potential buyers. This person is a talented artist, but be wary of purchasing from him.

:::HDS EDIT|Impolite response deleted. I quote from the TickleTheater rules: "We take the "be polite" rule very seriously! We do not tolerate any rudeness. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive will receive one warning (at our discretion). And if the member offends again the member will be banned without warning. This goes for private messaging as well.

We don't intend to censor messages based on the opinions expressed within posts, but we will enforce the policies outlined both here and on the Forum."

In short, members have the right to express negative opinions provided they do so in a constructive manner and are not posting with the sole intent to start an argument. As this is not the case, this response was unwarranted and, further, violated the "Be Polite" rule more than the post it seeks to target. Please contact myself via PM with any questions regarding this ruling.|END EDIT:::

I'm interested in seeing it continue either way (tickling or not). The artwork is great and so far the story is interesting.

Good luck!

Who is going to be the main distributor for the mainstream version of the manga? (poor way to put it; am I going to find it at Borders or Barnes and Noble? )

Thank you so much. Mugen is a great artist and I have a lot of story I would love to tell.

Well to be honest with you I haven't quite decided yet. Plenty of time to do that at least, but I was thinking I might distribute the manga myself. I have a few ways of doing that, but I'll make a decision once the manga is drawn up and ready to go.
