Hi everyone,

Just a friendly hello to see how everyone is doing during this unfortunate worldwide pandemic

As for me. I'm still hanging in there. A little bored, now and then. Other than that, still good.

Doing well. Going for three mile walks in Central Park now that all gyms are closed. Keeping in touch with family and friends via cellphone.

Im here..mostly the same for me ..just some little things are different

I'm doing better than I was at the beginning. So far I've been able to work from home and I go for walks/hikes when the weather is decent. I did have to start seeing a new therapist via video appointments because my depression started to creep back up, unfortunately. But it's been helping. I'm just afraid that, if this lasts too long, I'll have to start over.

“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” — Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling

I’ve lost my sanity and I’ve gone from motivated to hopeless slack ass. Depression and anxiety are through the roof too.

Was furloughed yesterday, last day is today. I've been on a razor's edge for the last few weeks. I hope I can keep the anxiety at bay.

For those dealing with the anxiety and depression of what is going on I hear you and understand, I'm on meds for both and being in the same boat and totally sympathize with you. Two weeks ago I was furloughed from both of my jobs. I obviously can't say when BUT we will get through this, Hang in there everyone!

I picked up the kettle, stopped, and just stared at the kettle unable to will myself to move any more.

Don't think i'm doing great tbh.

Been sick with a dry cough, chronic fatigue and a couple of other symptoms but no fever. Since July, I've been working through the night unloading grocery trucks at a dollar store so I'm one of the only people I know who hasn't lost work or have to work from home, but I did take most of the last week off, and will be taking off at least part of (if not the whole) week depending on how I'm feeling. (The other great thing about that job is that I get first dibs on food and supplies. And to think I almost quit and took a much better job about a month ago!)

A friend of mine is a doctor in an ER. Another friend of mine had some masks....just nine of them.....and seeing that the hospitals are (still) short of supplies, she called up our doctor friend and asked him if he wanted the nine masks. She was almost embarrassed asking him....after all it was only nine masks.

He came right there, immediately, left whatever he was doing, and picked up the nine masks. Unbelievable.

There's no way I'm going anywhere near a doctor's office or a hospital. I have a noose all ready and a big strong pipe that runs along my studio ceiling, and I'll just off myself if it gets to that point. It'll be last gift to the TMF! lol.

all the laundromats near me have closed. Not a small problem!

Sorry to hear about you not feeling well. But your post reminds me of how much I miss the laundromat.

I know this is weird, but hear me out.

A few times as a kid I went there with my Mom to do laundry. She’d hand me money and let me go get quarters from the change machine. And then go buy soap from the vending machine. Then we’d sit and talk while these gigantic machines did the laundry.

Hey, when you’re like 5 that’s cool okay?

Yeah, I miss the laundromat too, lol.

(cute story, Hall 🙂 A sweet memory.)

All is well. Off this past week from full time job (3/30-4/3). Still get paid for the week.
Still went to part time job at supermarket. Not a lot of foot traffic in the store.

How’s it going everyone?

Like a lot of you, I decided to quarantine during this Covid-19 pandemic that’s effecting us all right now.

I’ll admit that I haven’t felt great over the last week. I really don’t think it’s corona, but it was something whatever it was.

During this time, I wanted to do something to help lift everyone’s spirits. That’s why I wrote my latest stories the way I did. I thought if we read about our favorite couple facing the same problem we’re all dealing with right now, that we could all feel better. At least for a little while.

This little series has grown from what I thought would be a one and done boy meets girl story. And I’m happy that it’s brought joy you all and found a small but loyal audience.

There’s a lot more stories to tell, and I plan on Billy and Krista being around for a long time.

I hope that each and every one of you will come out of this unscathed, and be with us when we reach the other side.

Stay home, stay safe, stay cool.

-Your humble storyteller,

Physically I’m fine as is everybody I know, but I had my first mental wobble on Saturday. It was brief, only a few hours but I felt flat, unmotivated, lethargic and just generally apathetic, which isn’t like me at all.

During the week I work from home, so that keeps me occupied for eight hours. I take myself out for regular walks, I’ve got a new puppy who comes with me so that’s another bonus and I find things to do in quiet moments to keep busy. Saturday morning dragged on forever, though, and I just began feeling claustrophobic. I know it’s a worldwide issue and it’s not just me, but it wasn’t a good feeling. Hopefully it’s just a temporary blip.

No matter where you are in the world, stay safe one and all and keep smiling.

Cheers, everybody,
SmashTV

Still here, still well. Busier than usual. Since I live by myself anyway, the quarantine is only a minor physical or mental inconvenience.

My depression was stable for a while, but it's been getting worse. I'm still seeing a therapist via video appointments but it only helps so much.

Dude...that is NOT FUNNY! Please PLEASE let us KNOW IF YOUR OKAY KAY? None of here what you to die! 🙁

My fiance and myself are okay. We're on an extremely tight budget but we're both still employed and surviving.

Please stay safe and healthy everyone here kay? (HUGS YA ALL)

I’m alive 🙂 it got very scary for a while, but I survived! Still fairly weak but it can only get better, right?

I’ve had to take an absence as trying to work with 2 kids at home, do home schooling, trying to finish up my graduate degree, maintaining my own mental health, and attending to my physical health has been a lot. Hopefully everyone is hanging in there and staying safe!
