From Friendship to Romance

Over the weekend, I asked my friend if he would like to go on a date with me and he said yes so we have a date set for next week.

I've known him since we were kids and in the past year we've rekindled our friendship. I recently started wondering if there could be potential for more between us so I took a chance and we'll see where it goes. 🙂

Has anyone else started out friends with their SO before becoming a couple? Was it awkward? If it didn't work out, were you able to go back as friends?

yup i have done that i was afraid at first but faces my fears and dont regret it .it did not work there as there are things keeping us apart but we are still friend and im quite happy with that

i have never experienced it but my bro has with his wife. They were friend's before they were lovers and all the things he knew about her already. It's funny that too many women think it will ruin the friendship but he has probably seen you at your worst and still stays with you as opposed to someone that is physically attracted to you and you know nothing about and hope to hell this is the one. Never understood that.
