Ah yes, it is I, Poetic. Welcome.

So, the basic info. My real name is Chris Brown. Yeah, really, Chris Brown. (Ok, this is the part of the interview where you get all the 'Chris Brown' jokes out, cuz after this point, they are forbidden!) Poetic is a name that is not altogether original. I wrote poetry for a time, and thus the name seemed fitting at the time. I am a native Texan, native Houstonian, and couldn't be prouder of those facts. I'm Catholic, so, as this is an adult forum that causes adult thoughts, you must say 10 'Our Fathers' and 20 'Hail Mary's before continuing.....(Yes, like right now, let's go!).....good. You are forgiven. Back to me! I'm pretty tall, standing at 6ft 3in. I'm mixed with black, Irish, Puerto Rican, and Sioux. Yeah, talk about your violent heritage, huh? I've been oppressed way too many times in the past, which is probably what makes me so ornery. But, I'm somehow a nice guy regardless....sometimes. I am a true child of the system. A foster child who floated from one unwelcome home to another, all in Houston, somehow. I never went to school outside of HISD until I was adopted by a hateful and altogether strange man and relocated to Memphis, TN. It seems that my diploma was still fresh off the printer when I enlisted in the army. My escape from that hellish environment came with a price, but more on that later. Just revel in the irony for a minute. A gov dependant who grew up to work for the gov, go figure! I love music. I have a plethera of music on my hardrive, and it ranges throughout the musical alphabet, from alternative to zydeco. Like, literally. Also, I love movies. I have like 500 dvds, and maybe 200 vhs tapes, ranging from the silent film era, all the way to Gran Torino, which just came out this past week. I don't have favorites, I just pick one up and watch it. Can't help it. I do martial arts. Aikijutsu and BJJ, with some Katana, Bo, and Japanese Sword training as well. I have shot pretty much everything that fires a bullet. Love my S&W .357 and my Ruger .45. My personalized M4 (which I aquired in the military) and my 4500 layer black Damascus Japanese sword are definitely my babies. Nobody is allowed to touch them, on pain of death! Like, for real. If I woke up with amnesia, I wouldn't be allowed to touch them. Thats how serious it is. I am an avid gamer. From Pong to whatever is in the console that is currently occupying my attention, I've played it all. I have all the consoles from my childhood and teen years. My atari, NES, Super NES, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, N64, Dreamcast, PS1 and PS2, Gamecube, Xbox and 360, Wii, and of course, PS3. Got my old school gray Gameboy (The gray brick! You could smack somebody in the head with that thing, and keep playing Tetris!) Got my GB advance and my PSP. Way too much electronics for most people.....but then again, I'm not most people. I'm a football fan (Go Dallas Cowboys Baby!) and a basketball fan (San Antonio Spurs Forever!). I watch hockey, baseball, and I even tolerate Nascar, but only because the friends who are into it have tons of beer on race days, and who would pass up free beer? Not I! I also shoot pool, 8 and 9 ball. I'm more than decent, but I'm no pro. One day though....one day.

Now for a more serious side of me. I'm a former Army Ranger. Got a Ranger contract and PFC rank when I enlisted. Reached the rank of SSgt before my contract was up(thats Private First Class and Staff Sergeant for all you civilians!) Joined the greatest, the dirtiest, the craziest batt, the 3rd Ranger Batt, out of Benning! Falujah, Tikrit, Mosul, and a few other unknown places around the globe have my bootprints. I'm proud of my career, although it does haunt me occasionally. I don't approve of the Iraqi conflict, as I personally do not see the reasoning for being in Iraq. Afghanistan is different, and possibly North Korea (again), but just not Iraq. Now at the same time, all those crazies I've seen on TV downing the military really upset me. I didn't like my job, but I did it. And my thanks from you is to cheer for the deaths of my friends? I don't think so. I'm against the war, but I'll stand shoulder to shoulder with any soldier and defend the military at all costs. Besides, you don't blame a car for causing an accident. You blame the man at the wheel. So, go complain to the top brass, and good luck to you. Having said that, it's a job, and for me it is done. I'm not one of those crazy vets that has flashbacks in the middle of traffic, and I don't duck and cover at the sound of planes and loud noises! I used to see things in mirrors; faces that couldn't possibly be there. Thank God that's over and done with. Just don't walk up behind me in the dark, and don't blatantly stare at me for no reason, and you'll be fine!

Now, I work as Assistant Shipping Manager at Torrey USA, a food equipment distributor and manufacturor. Fairly happy at this job. Great boss, great co-workers, and decent pay. I also do armed security for a couple of strip clubs in Houston. The Show Palace and Legends are my main posts, although I do have some cantinas and sports bars I work as well. So if you add up all the hours, I average about 20 hours of sleep every week. Is it worth it, you ask? I'd like to think so!

I have always had a thing for tickling and feet, since a very young age. I didn't realize they were sexual attractions until my teenage years in high school. I was definitely the tickle monster to most of my lady friends, who seemed to think it was just being silly and flirtatious, which is was to an extent. I actually opened up about my foot fetish in high school, and was pretty much accepted by just about everyone I told. Tickling, on the other hand, is not so easy a thing to share, but I did with a handful of friends, who didn't react with too much surprise. There was of course some apprehension, but after a time it passed, or was really well hidden! It's not something I hid anymore, at least from those I intend to be close with. Even some of my battle buddies know of my fetishes, and you couldn't ask for a more accepting group of people than someone you've dodged bullets with! Personally, as a person of mixed race, I have felt the sting of rejection from all sides, so for me to not be accepting of others would be pretty messed up. I don't really let the opinion of others dictate my life. It's not healthy, and I needs my health!

So there you have it. Me in a nutshell. A rather large one, I must say. Questions, comments, random feedback, feel free. Well, I'm off to wreak havoc and chaos in the unsuspecting world! Later!

Thanks for writing the comprehensive profile. Glad that you're here. 😀
