From the Beginning.

I was looking around the forums and saw alot of people have stories from when they were quite young, so the topic is, how long have you known about your love or dislike for tickling, being tickled, or anything else you can add.

I used to be terrified of tickling pretty much as far back as I can remember. I remember reading a children's book called "The Tickle Octopus" when I was five and it totally freaking me out. I didn't start liking it until my friend started playing tickling games with me around 13. Full circle 😛

yeah, My cousin,when i was over her house her friends would come over and we would play tickle games, we were about 10-13 at the time

I was probably 3 or 4. I had a Sesame Street book starring Grover called "Grover and the Everything in the Whole Wide World Museum." One of the pages showed the "Things That Can Tickle You" Room -- feathers, floating hands with wiggling fingers, a dog licking his foot. The things all start tickling Grover, and he says "Wait, it did not say that I would be tickled!" I remember that I would always get flushed when I got to that page and secretly wished I was Grover. 🙂

LOL, I remember that book vividly. That one page was always the one I looked forward to. I think my feet tickling fetish began pretty young, although when you're young the word fetish doesn't enter your mind. From seeing the odd comic strip involving tickling to television shows, tickling my older sister on numerous occassions, my childhood friend's little sister, my cousin...yup I most definately had a love of foot tickling at a young age. One of the best memories I have of tickling was a school "playday." One year they set up a volleyball game between the teachers and the girls grade 8 volleyball team. At one point all the teachers charged the other side of the field and chased down all the girls, taking them to the ground, taking off their shoes and socks and tickling them silly. I don't know if it was a set up, or spur of the moment...but it was a day I'll never forget, and wished I could have been a part of on more then just a spectator level. Being older now, I think it's harder to find someone who accepts it and is willing to participate in it. I'm sure they're out there...I can't be the only Canadian into it. lol I guess I'm just not looking in the right places.

This pretty much exactly how i was!!!! except when i was about 8 there was a girl who we were having exclusive play dates with each other and i tickled her feet all the time. And when i was 12, a good friend of mine and another friend, the three of us were playing pirates in his basement and we tied his sister and her friend to the poles down there and tickled their feet to find the treasure, I didn't know why but i always liked it

Does anyone remember the Flintstones episode where Fred slips under a stone wall and his neighbor tickles his feet? OMG... that was about 40 years ago and it still makes me squirm to think about it.

In my childhood I used to play tickling game with one my my childhood friends. And i used to tickle her in whole parts of her body. And i don't know why i liked to tickle her and being tickled by her and she to enjoyed it in someway round.

Holy crap. I had this book, and I didn't remember it until reading your post. In fact, that could possibly be the beginning of my own tickle fixation. Thanks! XD
