Full Moon Last Night/This Morning.

Did anyone happen to notice the full moon last night/early this morning?

All the weather people/scientists said this is the largest full moon, and the closest it will be to Earth, until 2034.

I have a western exposure in my apartment, so I'm able to see the moon and the sun set.

I went outside to see the full moon last night. It was definitely bigger than usual. 😀

Yes, We currently have a SuperMoon here in UK, although due to the cloud coverage there is no way of knowing this unless you've read about it 🙁

It's the 'largest' moon for 69 years, due to its close proximity to the Earth.

Here in Austin the sky is clear for the first time in two weeks so I'll be taking a look tonight. Might even take a few pictures.

Saw it last night and tonight. Truthfully, looks pretty much the same as any other. Of course, one needs some reference to judge whether it is larger than normal, which most of us don't pay attention to (how many are amateur astronomers? I'm of the armchair variety - I read the magazines, but rarely go out and observe). For many, it appeared larger because they were told it would do so, even though they hadn't looked at a full moon in who-knows-how-long. My opinion.....

Yeh, can't even say it looked brighter - we have haze from wildfires to the north. Wildfires in Georgia???? Yep, for about a week now - this was normal when I lived in Southern Cal, but here in the southeast? How times have changed.
