I have to admit I rarely laughed that loud... Thats the most sadistically funny thing I have seen in a while. I'm a bad egg, I know, I actually felt really sorry for her and I bet that hurt like hell, but I can't help myself... These sounds! Like a werwolf! The music in the background! And these terribly fake hosts! *LoooL*
Well, I'd like to hear your opinion! Do you pity this woman? Or did you laugh, like I did? Be honest!!

I voted for the second option because theres nothing funny about a person being genuinely hurt. What IS funny about this however is her moaning. I've never heard anyone cry out in pain that way. And because it seemed at first like she was trying to mask her pain by continuing to talk, its clear it just got worse. This may have led the news anchors to underestimate or underplay her actual pain or maybe even trivialize it unintentionally.

My opinion:

It wasn't funny that she got hurt.

But the noises she was making were awkwardly funny.

Sounds like she just got the wind knocked out of her. There's something wrong with my video card so it was really too dark to see though.
News anchors always seem to be VERY bad at handling unexpected occurences. You'd think in their line of work they'd be able to pull it off a little better.

I think their ability to appraise a situation themself without it having to be fed to them via ear-piece communication or reading it off a bulletin or watchign a live video feed, depends more and more on their experience and just what they've experienced in their line of work.

John Beard for example (a fox 11 news anchor) doesn't skip a beat, and he's as fast as a whip in digesting something he's seeing without any preparation. All of this makes him seem more professional and legitimate.

I don't penalize the greener anchors for this though. They're getting a taste of random events. Its just a matter of getting their barings.
