Oooookay. First off, don't take this personally. I give detailed opinions and critiques to hopefully help artists get honest feedback. A lot of people will say things are "cool", or "nice" without even really looking at it. There's a lot of people who've got the spark and the gusto to go far in art. Sometimes they just need a kick in the pants.
You're one of those people.
I can tell you love drawing, and you love your characters. That's good. Now you need to combine that love with the most important and basic skills. First off, I will tell you...
Learn and practice anatomy.
http://fineart.sk/
That site offers free anatomy references for you to use, being a dA member, there's also numerous photographers who offer their work as stock. I suggest checking out Marcus Ranum's stock account.

The great majority of his models are female, but the way the body is constructed is still essentially the same. Male reference isn't that hard to find.
Now the reasons why you need work on your anatomy. We'll take the first image as an example, starting at the top. The way the head and neck meet is off, due to your neck tapering too much at the top, but the way the neck disappears into the collar? Spot on. Your shoulders are... all wrong. What you drew essentially are two arms next to a body. The right arm (his right) seems to have very little to associate it with the torso, while the left (his left) looks like it was attatched several inches too high, creating a hump. Yikes! Poor fella!
The shirt and jacket are like unto a cylinder here, so I can't see the shape of the torso. Getting clothes right is a bitch. I remember practicing that bullshit back in college. No wonder I like nudes so much, they don't remind me of practicing clothes!! AHH!
😀
It appears that the shape of the hips you drew? A cylinder lying sideways, kinda like a Lego man's hips. On the male figure, a trapezoidal base should be used, with the narrower side at the waist, the hip-thigh joint being on the outer, lower corners. There's far more to it than that, so please, seek reference.
Next up, your legs... again, the clothing masks any shape of the legs, though they seem to be uniform thickness going down, as there's no taper to the pantslegs, and the feet are quite wide, which would mean a relatively thick ankle.
Learn and practice composition.
In the second image, it doesn't look so much like a room, but more of a collection of objects drawn near to each other. There's a couple of giant blue boomerangs, a clock, a TV, and a guy lying on some huge amoeba.
Composition, composition, composition!
Hit up the bookstore and get some art instruction books. Don't be embarassed, get the beginner books. You wouldn't try to fly an airplane without learning how to taxi first, would you? Get the basics of drawing down, then move onto the figure.
Most of all, have fun learning!
😀
