gag or no gag?

when I tickle I like to use a gag, but maybe that's because I'm a city dweller and have to be conscious about such things.

how about you? whether you are ticklee or tickler do you prefer a gag? or no gag and just let it rip?

curious minds need to know (and my apoloigies if this has been a recent question. I am new as of today. 6/1)

As a lifestyle bondage afficianado, I prefer gags. I don't, of course, think it has to be a "one OR the other" type thing by any means...but I tend to get into gag-play somewhere in my sessions. I know the age-old arguement that people like to "hear the laughter", but you still do...it's just all muffeldy and shit. 😉

It's a power play, and definitely feeds the reaction junkie in me. Visually, I've always said that a gagged woman is the most beautiful thing in the world. It's the little cherry on top of the rope-cake. 😀

Gag or no gag depends on what the ler is trying to achieve via tickle torture. If the goal is to make the lee feel as helpless as possible, gags are the way to go. If you're trying to play up the humiliation factor of tickle torture, it is best to let the lee laugh freely.

All of this, of course, requires the session to not be all about the ler. 😉

Laughter, along with the lee's gasping pleas for me to stop... is a music that is just too beautiful to stifle....

I WANT that laughter... I demand it from a lee!!!

Even if I have to tickle it out of them!!!!

Personally, I have a love/hate thing with gags. I love that it makes me more helpless, and hate that it means the tickling/other play will be way more intense (like a punishment).

Gags...can be scary in bondage play. They definitely up-the-ante. No matter what's gone on before, you are now unable to make more than a muffled groan, grunt, whatever - in reply to whatever may befall you. It's one of those huge points where things have the potential to turn very scary, very fast, with no good outcome. I'm of course talking worst-case-scenario, here. Still.

As a pure fantasy power-exchange play with someone you trust a whole bunch, gags can be a blast. Just, you know - do the obvious. Play with sane people. Monitor anyone in a gag closely. The usual stuff.

Some laughs actually sound better while gagged(you know - the honkers/guffawers/snorters/ear-piercing-screamers and all in between). There are all sorts of laughs that it'd be almost a sin to silence with a gag, too. It's a case-by-case basis kinda thing.

Even with someone you trust, keep in mind that you're compromising your breathing in a decidedly stimulating situation. Problems can arise. Have an idea of how to handle a variety of situations off-the-cuff. As a general rule, 15 minutes is more than enough time in most serious gags.

So, err on the side of caution, but know that it can add an incredible spice to B&D play, done right.

I think it depends on the scenario. If it is playful tickling, then no gag, but if it is part of a full damsel in distress scenario, then a gag is a must.

Well never having the chance to use a gag I can't be certain. However, after watching some vid clips I have come to the conclusion that it's about the lee. If she has a great laugh, then I want to hear it. If she is a screamer, I want her gagged, lol.

I cant see why youd want to gag a lee. surely half the fun of tickling is hearing those wonderful noises coming from the victim, not a load of muffled grunts!
