People act as though a simple gag cuts off all sound; that's only on bad cop shows

I'm a *huge* fan of gagged tickling, and the notion of not being able to hear the laughter is a myth unless you're actually stuffing the 'lee's mouth with cotton and insulation. It's different, yes, but just as yummy. Trust me on this, as long as the gag is a simple one and comfortable you can hear
all the lovely laughter you could desire, plus you have the added delicious bonus of being able to taunt and tease and utterly
infuriate your 'lee by asking questions they can't answer: "Your ribs itch, you say? No problem, I'll scratch them for you!" "Can I taste your toes? Really? Gee thanks!!"
. Gags have given me some of THE wrongest and most diabolically memorable sessions I've experienced, as both 'lee and 'ler; in fact, I've had many 'lees actually laugh
*louder and harder*,yes you read that right, because they weren't worried what they sounded like laughing and shrieking so hysterically (some people are sensitive about their laugh and other sounds and try to hold back). As for safety, it's simple: you give the 'lee a small ball or scarf to hold in one hand. If she needs a break she drops it. Or, you tie her hands over her head close enough that she can clap. I've done these many, many times and it works beautifully. In fact, the desperation to hold onto the object just adds to the 'lee's predicament, and that's always a good thing

Gags aren't for everyone but they do 'not' spoil the laughter, believe me.
