Gags-Can Someone Please Explain The Excitement?

I want to make clear that I am NOT posting this for the purpose of being a jerk, or to start any bad threads, this is more so just for explanation and clarification purposes?

I've read certain threads that lers get turned on by having their lees "bound and gagged". The bound I completely get, so the lee cant move, the ler can have control, and also so the lee wont hurt the ler with kicking feet, or flailing body parts.

Can someone please explain the motivation behind " gagged". Is it that to these lers, the laughter out loud isnt of primary importance? I, for one, love the idea of a girl's high pitched giggle or squeal when I would be tickling her.

I never used to have any interest in gags because I LOVE the laughter/begging. But recently I've found that for lees who don't laugh as much [the kind of people who are ticklish, bu do more grunting and struggling than actual laughing] the gag definitely is a turn on for me. ESPECIALLY with people who say "Stop" too much, I've realized I enjoy the helplessness it creates for them. I also enjoy being gagged myself, because of the total lack of control I have - totally unable to tell Zac "It tickles too much" and giving him full power over me.

It's different for everyone but as I said, for me it's the helplessness. 90% of the time, I prefer no gags, especially if the person has a great laugh. For others though, and myself sometimes, the gags can be a nice change.

To me, its about a sense of control and domination in a safe environment. Some people get off on restricting and being restricted in what they are allowed to do.
