so anyone play Half-Life 2 Episode 1 (aka Aftermath)?

i heard nothing but great things about it, thinking about getting it myself.

just watched a teaser video for Episode 2, it looks crazy cool, here's the look so you can check it out, don't wanna explain it too much, it seems to have a major spoiler.

Never really had a chance to play Half Life 2. I've been meaning to pick it up, but I've been addicted to other stuff, plus there is a wedding in the family around the corner so I'm kinda broke from renting the tux, and getting my bro his wedding gift. ;-; But, I've always been a fan of the first Half Life, and had an addiction for Counterstrike, but what PC nerd didn't? xD The clip looks sick btw.

Played it, loved it. If you have a capable computer then it is one of the most beautiful games there is... The graphics are really improved over HL2, especially with the addition of HDR lighting. Starts out a little slow but it definitely gets much hotter! I've played through it twice so far and I will possibly do it again. It's a little short...but worth the money! 😀

i've played it 5 times through and about to play it a 6th. love this game to bits. best $50 i spent. although Ravenholm gives me the heebie geebies.

Buy episode one as soon as you can! It is...beautiful...Plus dog is in it 🙂

And the new commentary system is pretty cool.

My compooter doesn't run that stuff... hell, I still scrim 1.6 sometimes. (counterstrike, of course.)

I'm really a fan of Xenogears lately though... I just can't put it down... something about a timeless classic like that which makes me feel good, everytime I play it.

I went on a game-buying spree and picked up the origional Half-Life (Generation) and Half-Life2 (along with several others). I have yet to fully play em tho, (Guild Wars and Unreal Tournament 2004 take up all my precious little gaming time).

Eventually I will tho, it looks exciting.

Well, lets just say that I have an extensive library of games... and those that I don't own, my associates do. For example, I own the entire genre of RPGs on Super Nintendo.

Anyone here played FFIX? I'm just starting on it, and so far it's pretty good, though I'd expect nothing less from an FF game! (cept maybe X-2, PU!)

Wow, I am very jealous......especially about Xenogears! There's only one way to get it, I guess.

eBay is always an option, but if you check a few places, you might just get really lucky. Example: I was looking for Xenogears for about eight months, looking into shops, checking used games, etc.

I didn't find it at EB Games, Gamestop or whatnot. I got lucky as all hell and a small library that was starting to branch out got a bunch of used games. Long story short, I picked it up for fifteen dollars.

If only I could find Symphony of the Night on such luck...

FF9 wasn't one of my favorites...

I didn't fall in love with the characters fast enough, except Blank... he was so awesome.
