Gatherings and Tickling vidoes.....behind the scenes

Just wondering if any tickling video company or just someone in here with a video camera ever thought about doing a "behind the scenes" type of video.

I think it'd be kind of interesting to see how the companies pick their models, decide what kind of tickling video they're gonna do ...and what kind of things go into getting ready for a gathering, and other stuff like that.

Anyone else here think they'd like to see something like that? It'd probably at least be DIFFERENT and new ( to some of us on here at least) compared to other tickling videos.

Maybe a video like that would even end up on some sort of show like Taboo (don't remember if that's on Discovery channel, or National Geographic channel..one of those, anyway), where they talk about the "weird" stuff. I think a tickling gathering (and showing how it's run and stuff ) would make a good episode for that show.

I had requested that a while back. I would certainly buy it, and it would be interesting as hell. (Better than any "reality series" on major television! Not just that it would be about tickling, but that it would be more interesting and have more likable people than those.)

Of course, it may only interest those of us here on the forum, but so be it. And, each company would have have to make their own, unless the collaborated and shared the profits. If they would include the gathering, there would have to be some collaboration. The gathering members themselves, those that aren't shy, could just get a camcorder and make their own documentary about tickling gatehrings.

I really would love to hear about some of the behind the scenes processes and going on's. Especially after seeing Agatha tickled in Tickletown. In the second clip, she says she couldn't get the laughter out, even though it really tickled. I just thought that was the most fascinating things. Here is someone who wants the video to work!

I wonder wabout the models who don't care, those who just think it is interesting, those who want it to work like Agatha, and those who are really ticklish. Have they ever found another ticklephile, and not just someone who is ticklish?

Where do they find the models? What kind of "No's" or "Yes's" have they gotten? This refers to Francois conversation with a girl who said she wanted to be in a video, then next time he talked to her she turned out to be a bigot who thought he and all of us were weird. Do models ever seek them out, or do they have to do all the looking?

Now that RealTickling is calling it quits, and way back when Kathy left there to pursue a career, I wonder if that's why, or was there something more. Do they just get tired of it, did they become physically ill, and lost the strength, did they get condemned by some judemental person, like what is happening to Sarah from "Joe Millionaire?" That would be a hell of a thread, or book.

Am I to understand that people would be willing to PAY to see us sitting around the table going through details to get a gathering together? Heck, if that's the case, we'll tape every meeting we have! j/k

I get the point that it would be cool to see what takes place. But, I'm not sure how practical it would be to actually put one together. An interesting concept, though.

I can see it now... kind of like the documentary on Woodstock. I know, we could call it Laughing-Stock! Ok, ok... it's not original. So what? :blaugh:

Yes, that would be fascinating!

Especially in the video scene. What goes on behind the scenes, what kind of cameras are used, what models are there to really help, which ones are there to pick up there check and get on with it. Model interviews that don't have to include anything personnal, but to hear from them why the are doing the video, what do they do model wise elsewhere, etc. I've always been fascinated by models like Priscilla and Kristen Lea and rachelle from Real Tickling, because they came back! They did more than one. Usually you'd expect the general public to find is weird, but here are a few names who came back a second time. Why!? What are their thoughts and observations? How do they carry themselves, what are they like behind the scenes, bitchy, happy, willing to help? I always remember how there was one model at TickleTown, (Mia,? I forgot her name) who helped Wallstreet load up his bags, and he said no one had ever helped him before like that. To show her doing that, like one of those behind the scenes featurettes on DVD's would be fantastic. Just watch a documentary and see how it's done, like the Making of The Shining, or Star Wars Episode I or The Making of Army of Darkness. Those are a few of the better ones. Seeing how Jack Nicholson listened to Stanley Kubrick's direction, while Shelly Winters just got in arguments with him was cool. Or seeing Sam Raimi throwing rocks at his cameraman and Bruce Campell was just interesting, and funny. Interviews with articulate people are always cool. Are the models smart, (as all models claim they are?) or are they the model of blonde jokes? I would love to have heard Agatha from Tickletown talk about why she did the video, just because it was so fascinating to see her want to laugh and want to have a good video. You would think that if someone was just doing it for the check, they wouldn't really give a damn. Here's someone who, it appears, does. Why?
