This is making me mad. I wanted a copy of Ghettopoly because I have always liked Monopoly games, but now that all of this controversy has started over it I cant find one under 100 dollars. Thats Bullshit. I mean I am from the "ghetto" and it doesnt offend me. I am not black but i do not see how it offends black people. Jessie Jackson and the NAACP (excuse me for saying this) need to shut up. They aint never really done anything for the black community. All they do is walk around with a chip on both shoulders. The game is called ghettopoly not blackopoly or (excuse me again) niggeropoly. I am not a racist in any way. The game featured black, hispanic, white, asian,and italian characters just like a real ghetto would have.I dont see what the big fucking deal is. Sorry. If you disagree with me please state youre oppinion i want to know how someone could possibly think it is racist. David Chang the poor inventor of this (wich I think was a great idea) has been racialy attacked being told to make a "Chinkopoly". Go to ghettopoly.com and read his "message to the haters" it makes some good points. I myself am boycotting yahoo and ebay for banning his products.

I agree with, well... MOST of what you write (one of my biggest clients is the NUL and know organizations like that do good things because I've seen it myself). "Niggeropoly"? "Chinkopoly"? Sheesh - I couldn't get to the bank fast enough if those were actually available for sale! People need to understand that sometimes humor can get a little ugly, but it IS humor, not law or public policy. Sometimes it's a warning sign of what someone is made of, sometimes not. Some people who laugh at this stuff are the bad guys... AND some people who laugh at this are simply relaxing w/o the use of beer after a hard day of being a member of a society that is getting increasingly more complex. So I'm down with ya, dog!

Seriously, if I find copies of Ghettopoly, I'll post the info here - affordable ones I mean. Especially if you live in the ghetto... I understand money can be hard to come by.....

Till then, go out and buy the some of the "The Fightin' Whiteys" t-shirts that are floating aroud out there. That, and the Banana Slugs, are the coolest names for a college sports team I've seen yet.

In a way, with the "Texas Aggies - opoly" they kind of did the White Trash version. And I specificlly remember the White Trash cookbook being on sale years ago; I don't think it would have any problem being rprinted today if there was a demand. Nobody yelled then.

I totally agree with you about Jessie Jackson. All he does is cause trouble. He has a way of only self promoting. He can only be seen when the cameras are tured on. I am not racist either but to me he's a bum!!!
