I think it is great as it is. The line-work gives it a really nice 'softness' which fits very well with the 'cuteness' of the scene and the girl. It (with respect to those who need to see colour) leaves still some room for imagination (such as skin colour, texture, hair colour, blush or no blush or red head or cheeks, etc.) and unless the colouring is done excellently it may not do the picture justice.

Generally it is easy to throw some clothes onto the girl, apply colour and make the toes wriggle, but the fact is that it is NOT my picture and to just make a few modifications other than simply colouring the piece is something I'm rather hesitant of now. The original artist may not appreciate that, so you should probably first find out who they are. Maybe if you remember where you found the picture, that may help.

I have to agree with Ilohnoh. This is a rare piece that has greater impact without colors, and I prefer color always if possible. But it also gives a certain challenge to the artists; Would one be able to color it so, that it's cuteness grows even greater?
