I recently purchased "Masta Ace Incorporated: Sittin' On Chrome" the box set with instrumentals and rarities put out by Delicious Vinyl.
This is one of those albums I feel slipped under the radar for most people. This was an impulse buy for me based on my appreciation for the golden era of hip hop and what delicious vinyl has supplied for me as someone who grew up on the coat tails of this era. When I purchased this; so many hip hop connoisseurs who were there at the check out line had memories of where they were when they first copped this Masta Ace album, most remembered copping it on tape.
I would love to hear some of you heads share your memories of copping this album or others of its variety at that time. This album goes HARD and deserves some stories!
