I'm a big tennis fan, so I've been watching Wimbledon quite carefully, and it's been real good so far. Saw that Hewitt match. What a shocker. And I have to admit, Tim Henman is an exciting player to watch, what with him being a serve/volleyer and giving us a lot of drama in his matches. Unlike the boring baseline South Americans who have such a predictable game. Have to fancy Greg Rusedski's chances too, provided he gets past Andy Roddick. Now that'll be fun to watch...

As for our sporting successes, yeah we're kicking ass. Must pity the Aussies, though...

Got to aggree with BJ............

.....the Aussies give no quarter on the field or off the field or in the press. Thats where we go wrong, always so bloody deferential and magnanimous, so anxious to see "fair play" always so welcoming and hospitable to visiting nations and teams. We need to take a leaf from the U.S. and Aussie sports books.

Take this years wimbledon, Tim Henman has gone on record that he does not like the slow pace of this years courts. This would NEVER....NEVER...happen in the U.S. they would go and ask Aggasi and Sampras what kind of surface they would like, to give them the best chance of beating everyone else. It is a fact that they give their own players the best courts and the best times to play THROUGHOUT a tournament and the rest can go and fuck themselves! but what do we do??oh well we have to be "fair to every one, and give all players the same chance".......BOLLOCKS to that I say!!! give them the same shit we get when we go in to their back yards.
