Many thanks to everyone. I'm glad to announce that I did not disappoint.

They were thrilled at my portfolio, both at the talent and the thought process. Comments included "I can't believe you've never taken an art class" and "You've got a gamer-head". Though I won't know for sure until Thursday, they have said that I will almost certainly be in the class for October.

They also suggested that if I am to make a career out of this, I should consider applying to start in April (three weeks), which I am seriously considering. Same courses and length, different start date and finish date, with fewer applicants, so chances of getting hired straight out of the classroom increase. 😀

However, nothing is for certain until I hear from them on Thursday. Thanks again for all your support. I posted the pics I have scanned that I used in my portfolio. 🙂
