Great article. Thanks for reminding me of one of the most unusual movies I've ever seen, so many years ago I had all but forgotton about it. Although not generally much of a "horror" fan, "Freaks" was/is an all-time "classic" of any genre. I'm sorry I didn't record it, although I can't recall whether I even had my first VCR yet at the time.
