Got less boring last Sunday

We had an F2 tornado hit town Sunday, you may have heard about it. A lot of businesses got hit and over at one of Zod's fuel stops a parked trucker took a little ride. He's ok and luckily no one around here was killed. We got lucky.

Oh, and I am getting cancer removed from my arm and face. Other than that it has been quiet.

See a dermatologist at least once a year in the future to catch any new ones early. (I've been doing that since 2000 when I have my first dysplastic nevus removed.)

The south end of town got slapped hard. I never do Starbucks but their was one young lady working there that kept her head and probably saved a few folks. She's getting her 15 minutes from ABC thru FOX. And our friend from Down Under told me we went International because she saw the report on her local TV news!

Our last run of tornadoes was some time ago, but I still remember how scary it was. Stands of trees in the hills around town crushed like someone had dropped a boulder on them. A local TV station had its 600-foot tower and building wrecked. And if memory serves, that was just a wimpy little F1 twister (one of several). Glad no one was killed in your locality; I think we had one fatality.

Hope that cancer has been zapped away by the time you read this. (They operate on them with lasers now, don't they?)
