The heroine, Chase Case, is just starting up her own detective agency and get's her first assignment. A young woman has gone missing. The last place she was seen is at a curious little novelty shop named Captain Giggles.

Chase begins her investigation there, to find the only items sold are "Captain Giggles" dolls. The girl working the shop promises that the dolls all have "12 hours of unique, non-stop laughter, no two recordings are the same".

When Chase shows a photo of the missing young woman to the shopkeeper, she abruptly finds herself receiving a sinister first-hand look at how the dolls are made...

I bought this to continue support of the business as a whole, but honestly, this is subpar at best.

The characters feel lifeless; their facial reactions to the tickling just aren't any good - in fact, their faces don't change a whole lot at all throughout the whole comic. This is a major drawback and hinders my enjoyment pretty much entirely.

The bodies and feet are drawn decently, for the most part, though in some parts the anatomy is messed up.

I like the concept for the story, which wasn't too bad. But unfortunately the art took away from the delivery of it.

The artwork is a unique style. May not appeal to everyone, but I liked it a lot and would love to see more from this artist!
