Gotta ask... Dancing With The Stars anyone?

I can't help it. I was a rabid *NYSYNC fangirl back in the day, so I feel like I have to watch for Lance Bass, and now I'm a very dedicated All My Children fan, so I also feel like I have to watch for Susan Lucci. XD

Soooo, anyone else watching and who are you rooting for so far? I tuned in a little late and I'm not sure who I missed, but I'm just curious. Goodness knows I have no room to criticize how they're dancing; I could trip over a candy wrapper with my grace. 😛

It's one of the few shows we can watch on TV as a family. Susan Lucci looked stiff, Warren Sapp was lighter on his feet than I expected. Brooke Burke finally broke thru the 'supermodels can't dance' rut. Brooke leads, Jeff What's-his-Name (The comic) trails. Look out for Misty-May Traynor and Ted McGinely, they could be dark horses.

First out club member may be Rocco the chef. Not sure if his fan base is bigger than the (appears to be) foul mouthed comic...

Oh and Sammi, you'll love Lacey, one of the new pro dancers, esp, her hair colorations....

Yeah, I'm hoping next week she'll improve and not be scared, as she put it. Brooke was excellent. I remember watching her when the Rockstar reality shows were on CBS. I never would've guessed she had so many kids! Go her. 🙂 Jeff, I didn't even pay attention. I was like "eh... whatever." Nothing against him, just wasn't into even trying to watch him.

I do love Lacey. I think one of the reasons, besides the different style she brings to at least the appearance of ballroom dancing, is her *NSYNC fangirlism. I mean, I STILL know exactly where my 90s boy band CDs are, and I somehow carried something of a goth reputation with me through high school. XD (I am nowhere near it, by the way, unless you think a lipring and black nail polish are enough.)

I'm a little concerned about Lacy...she seems like the dark horse. I like her personally, but if she gets *too* wild, Len will buck her out faster than you can say "old guy"😛 I like Lance though, thought he did really well.

On the whole it was the best season opener ever, it's gonna be an interesting season!
