Before anyone says anything, I didn't post this in the Political subforum because I don't intend it to lead to arguing and bickering. I'm just curious as to whether the governments (be it local, state, or federal) have property deeds for park lands and such?

I imagine every state has something akin to the Texas General Land Office http://www.glo.texas.gov/ and county or city records would probably be found at the county or city clerk's or tax office. You could just do a Google search, find the right office and ask them. No idea about the federal level, but they do sell land at times and I'd think a deed would be involved.
