Grand Theft Auto V question

I'm stuck on the mission where you have to get Michael's boat back. I get Franklin on the boat but I can't shoot the guys from the guy trying to throw him off. Any advice?

Just keep practicing. I think michael has a special power you activate by holding L3 & R3 which should help you shoot. Its difficult so i skipped that mission

Me too, as Clint Eastwood once said "A man's got to know his limitations.".

I think I remembered just switching to Franklin and shooting them that way.

I play "GTA V" also, and I know the mission your talking about well.

What I usually end up doing is just shooting out of the car madly, and hopping I hit him. [I suck at shooting and driving]

I got lucky to be honest. So can't help you. And it was more takes to recue the son than even shoot the guy.

I did it by holding a steady speed for a second, lining the gun cross hair up on the vertical axis to where it was at the height of the guy I wanted to shoot, and then moving the car slowly over until he was lined up on the horizontal axis as well. (If that makes any kind of sense.) The shooting while driving controls annoy the hell out of me, it took several tries to get it.

Lol well that confused me.

That I got. It was the other parts that confused me for a few a little bit. But I got what he meant after a while.

I caught the son on the 2nd try, but I am finding the game kind of boring. Stuff is either to hard or to easy, nothing falls in the do-able but challenging zone.

I was playing GTA5 pretty religiously until Little Miss Chicago got bored watching it and convinced me to throw in Far Cry IV. Haven't played anything else since, Far Cry is friggin amazing.
